As I was saying in the title the little yellow-legged frog needs our help! All the way in Sierra Nevada California!!! I will start with some easy facts about the frog. Once the frog was the most abundant amphibian in Sierra Nevada Mountains and Southern California. Here is a very interesting fact. At one time there were so many frogs that people had to watch were they stepped. The yellow-legged frogs have disappeared from over 93 percent of their original mountain home. The California Department of Fish and Game introduced trout into the frogs habitat. These trout didn’t belong there so the trout ate the tadpoles of the yellow-legged frog. This caused them to be endangered. Those are some interesting facts. I really don’t want these amazing creatures to go extinct someday.

Floria has an amazing Panther that needs to be saved. There are only about 100 left in the state of florida. So what I would like you to do to try to save the florida panther is do not cut down trees and try not to drive too fast in the Everglades. I will start with facts about the florida panther. They are 5-8 ounces when they are born. Their adult body is about 5-8 feet long. They also eat squirrels, deer and other stuff they can find. They live in southwestern florida and need 100 square miles, which is a very big place. so I was glad to write this blog because I love animals and I will deal with any animal I can find. I am so glad that you read my blog. Thank you.

Today I visited two websites about saving elephants. You can see the websites at http://wildlifeconservationnetwork.org/wildlife/elephant2.html#threats and http://www.savetheelephants.org. They are about saving elephants in Africa. The elephants are declining because of hunting. People hunt elephants because they want their ivory. The ivory is the tusks. They use them for piano keys and other items. They are tracking the elephants by putting collars around their necks. By doing this, they can track the elephants and learn more about them. The websites are getting people to love elephants, not kill elephants. If you want to save elephants too, go to http://wildlifeconservationnetwork.org/support/ and donate money. Be sure to donate it to the elephants. I would appreciate it if you would make a donation to save elephants in East, West, Central and South Africa.

Did you know that humpback whales eat 3000 pounds of krill a day? The krill is getting poisoned and the krill are dying, so the humpback whales suffer because they don’t have enough food. They are also being hunted. I am going to show a video about humpback whales and how they are being killed. They are so friendly. It would be great if you could help.

The California Tiger Salamander might go extinct some day. Me and my mom researched endangered salamanders and that is what we found on line. I hope that they don’t go extinct some day. They are going extinct because of habitat destruction. I am going to show you a picture of the California Tiger Salamander. Please try to save endangered salamanders. Isn’t that a pretty salamander?

I adopted a Manatee last night. His name is doc. Doc lives in Blue Spring. He has returned there every winter since 1976. He goes there a lot in the summer too. He is a full grown male and he is very friendly. It was only $35 to adopt the manatee Doc. The $35 is going to save the manatees from cold stress and boats. If you could try to save manatees by adopting one that would be great! You can do that by going to http://www.savethemanatee.org/default.html. Here is a picture of doc

Today I  am going  show a video  about how global warming kills polar bears. Polar bears could disappear in 50 years, so it would be great if you tried to save polar bears.  Can you please watch the video so you can learn how to save polar bears. Thank you for reading  my blog and watching this video.

Hi!! I am a dolphin conservationist. I have loved dolphins my whole entire life.  Dolphins might go extinct someday. So could you  try to help me save dolphins? Did you know that orcas can live to be 80 or 70 years old?  Most dolphins are very very  friendly or like to play a lot.
